I agree man! This body has been to hell and back (literally) and it still looks great.

Yup. Others have tried but they just aren't as cool.....nor as durable at all.

So what's up? Is Jeep (Chrysler) throwing a fit because their body is being reproduced for the rc's or something? I must have missed something. If so, that will be a good reason for me to ditch the Jeep body I just did and start another body. Also be all the more reason for me not to run any Jeep panels on my 1:1 buggy.

That is the worst part about it. The cab his huge (true to jeep I guess) and the hood is way to long, like it has a straight 6 in it or something.

Proline didn't have the lisencing rights to make the CJ body. They had to stop making it about a year ago.
I would say that it should encourage you to use the Jeep stuff.

I hate the hood more than anything! You could go bowling on it.

So Proline never had a license to make the CJ8? They should do more bodies illegally cause that was there best looking body to date.

I just had another good idea: Maybe we could ask bluemeanie to call Proline. He could tell them that we all want the CJ8 body back even though there was no demand for it. He could be the official RCC spokesperson!!!!
