after a year and a half both of my trucks are running! what's the longset you've gone without having a running rc?

I went the last 7 years without even owning one after racing/bashing for about 15yrs. Got the itch and got back into the hobby last sept and I've accumulated 4.5 rc's since.

hmmmm, without my own running or running/helping fix a friends. Recently it has been 5 years since I stopped racing but only 3 I think without a running one(very fast stadium trucks dont like concrete and water)

I went about 8 years without my Tamiya Wild Dagger running. I stripped a tranny gear and couldn't find a replacement. Kept it that whole time, it was a really fun truck. I finally figured out that the same gears were used in many other vehicles and only the part number was discontinued and they still made the gear. I now have about 3 spares just in case.
