First, install Google Earth. This is an important step in the process. Then, find your house. Look in the driveway. Is your car there? If so, you're done. Nice job.

If not (as in my case) then you're somewhere else. But where? Click the clock to activate the timeline, and use it to see when the last photo was taken. In my case, May 29, 2010. Then all you have to do is try to remember where you went that day and re-trace your steps.

If you live in an apartment, park in a garage, live in a low-res area or have a vehicle that's not easily identifiable from above, you're going to have a harder time of it. I suggest painting a wiener on your car's roof and wait for the next flyover.

Find your self in mirror! Step one, You need a mirror now this is the important part because if you don't have a mirror this will not work. Step two Look into the mirror and that's you! Amazing huh? If your under a sheet then paint a big weiner on it so you know where your at the next time you look into the mirror.
