First deer.

hardest thing for me to get used to was moving so slow.
it takes me around 30 min-an hour to go about 50 yds depending on terrain and whats around.you dont want to jump em,you want to follow them and they dont know your watching. I followed a group of 37 turkey all day once. cosest I got to one turkey was 5',closest I got to the group was 50' it was tiring yet exciting. how many men get to watch a group of turkey all day and stay within 50' while they roost for the night.

leaves are your biggest enemy.
when you get where you can walk through dry leavs without letting the animals know what you are, your a stalker.

I use wind and trains to my advantage when I can.
I dont know what its like being color blind so it may be alot harder for you.
try stalking after rains, its much easier to be quet when its wet.

I'll sure try it. Sounds exciting reading it.
Next small rain we get, I'll go out and try it.
