So.... How okay is it to bring our own "fluids" to the comp, and consume a few? Not to get hammered but to get loosened up before we have to compete. I know that many of us will get playfull afterwards but how friendly can we get at the comp? 1 or 3 maybe? Just to relax...

I know that media will be there so if we keep it out of sight would that be okay?

Could always escape inside the crawler hauler.

(the 'fridge will be cold. ;) )

I think the only "venting" will be my ***.

I know that our condo will be plenty refreshed with "beverages".

Camp Jew will not have any drinks. We will be roaming around to different condos freeloading beer and snacks.

The first year I went to Moab I was sure I brought everything I needed for my camping fun, only to wake up the next morring after a long night of pounding beers by the camp fire :) to find the one thing I forgot was water :-(, so I cracked anther beer to cure the cotton mouth.

I plan on drinking water to keep me hydrated and a shot or 2 of Jim Beam to keep me relaxed (shots are quick eazy and low key).

I know most of you guys are just being light hearted ... and, I'm probably the only square here you thinks it's a bad idea to allow adult beverages at the actual event. They'll be plenty of time at night. Odds are everyone would be discreet and exercise moderation, but a single negative incident could ruin things for the organizers. I'll hop off the soap box now if anyone wants it.

RCC is ultimately responsible for what goes on at the event. We will not tolerate inebriated fools during the competition.

We've had guys show up at comps before that were plastered and actually hit EVERY gate marker on the course. Was funny to laugh at/with them, but it was also agreed by the rest of us that things like that wouldn't happen again.

But, hey...the more you guys throw down, the better my chances are of winning. :flipoff:

Id say leave it at home or stay home! (Well leave it back at party head quarters at least)

Im thinking this will be watched closely by the media that is showing up, and we should watch our selves likewise
