Some of you might have seen my scale RC Toyota crawlers made of thin aluminum. well I started almost 30 years ago making 1/25 scale foil models and smashing them. Recently i pulled a couple old and new foil models i built and sacrificed them for my new high speed camera. Enjoy!

I've got a customer at work that would do stuff like that with his brother, only they would make brass chassis that held rocket motors and would launch them down rain gutters.....think I might have few pics of one he brought into the store still too.

I remember as a kid having some monster truck thing that came with molds that you put aluminum foil over to make cars that you then drive the monster truck over. At least I think I do.

I did too, i think it was some sort of official Bigfoot playset or something like that.

When I was a kid, a friend and I, would take plastic toy cars and duct tape on witch whistles, whistling petes, fountains,or any kind of firework that would propel it...
It was so FUN, except at the end we had a melted pile of plastic!:mrgreen:

Unfortunately growing up in PA we didn't have any of that stiff available, but i did have a nerdy dad who made his own fireworks so there was much melting of toys over the years! LOL!

Yes! My cousin had that I think. Tapping some really early memories there.
