Could some one please tell me what size wheel hexes are on the stock TXT, also what size are the out put shafts on the axles ( where the drive shafts go) ?

a stock TXT wheel adapter is like the clod... black hub that bolts to the wheel. There are adapters ( splined inside), and let you run a 12, 14, 17mm hex...

as for pinion shaft size... you will need 6mm drive shafts. But if you want to run a 5mm transmission, the older MAXX's have 5mm yokes, using those, you can go from 5mm to 6mm without making or buying an adapter.

the hex sized is 12mm, they make a 12mm to 23mm conversion so that you can run different rims, they also make an adapter for the TMAXX rims.

dont know about the shafts.
