Hi all,

I am currently running my stock Yeti with 2s Lipo/40c/5450mAh, 32P 16T pinion gear and the speed is approx. 27km/h
If i want to reuse below Yeti combination for R1 but with lower pinion gear such as 11T, is it possible? i want it with some speed and crawling ability.

Thanks in advance.

Good luck getting a response in here. You'll have views but there's rarely anyone who will answer your question. It's dead around here, and I haven't found another decent forum where there's any R1 drivers.

With respect to your question, I'm still building mine, but the stock pinion gear is 12T giving a ratio of 40.24. I'm going more for a speed/basher build and I've ordered a 19T to see what happens. I'm running a Tekin 3100Kv motor with 3s/2s lipos and I think it will be fun. Check back to my build thread to see what the outcome is. I'm just waiting on a power pigtail and I'll be good to go.

The only problem I can think of is fitment of the battery since there's very LITTLE room unless you want it hanging out the back.

Should work fine, but the stock Yeti brushless is non-sensored and not really good in a crawler. You should go sensored BL in a crawler, but it will work, just won't crawl as well.
