Futaba 4Pk VS. Spectrum DX3.0

Which radio would be the best to run a DIG on. Price differences?
Thanks

well the 4PK is probably the best pistol radio in existance. That being said it is $500. The DX3.0 only has a 2 position 3rd channel so on a shafty you can only have 4x4 and rear lock. On an MOA you can only have 4X4 and rear lock. It is better to get a radio that has a 3 position 3rd channel like the DX3R or the 3PK."thumbsup"

I wouldn't even say those two rx/tx are comparable in features or price. And for the dig the 4PK is going to give you more options as mentioned above.

Spektrum Dx3(not Dx3.0) has 3 position 3rd channel, and it's cheaper.

Actually on moa you can get a dx3.0 to kinda do a 3 position.

You have front dig and 4wd in normal then you put the aux channel in reverse and then you would have rear dig. I saw somebody do this at a recent comp, just to let you know, it probably would not work on a shafty because of end points.

Sold the dx3r and bought the 4pk my opionion dont count for much but well worth the jing.

thanks everyone im kinda new to this so i really wanted to know what options i have.
I should of posted in the newb section:oops:

One thing you really shouldn't skimp on is the radio. The radio will last you well beyond the lifetime of your rig. And it can be used in other toys as well. With that being said, I just can't see spending the coin on the 4PK. Just too rich for my blood. The Spektrum DX3R suits me just fine and is $100 cheaper...

Get yourself a neckstrap too. Nothing hurts worse than smashing your radio on the rocks. I took a header at our last comp and all I could think about was my radio smacking the rocks. It did focus my brain someplace else so the sprained ankle didn't really bother me :)

I HIGHLY suggest you wait a week and watch for Harley to post something VERY EXCITING (and less expensive) from Futaba."thumbsup"
