i am getting into super class and wanted to know if i can use rear steering on a futuba 4pl or i have to get a spektrum 6xi transmitter"thumbsup"

thanks

Here's the specs on the 4PL:

If you scroll down to the section called "mixing functions", you'll notice that it says you have the ability to mix 4WS.....which is what you are looking for.

Of course, a dual stick radio will give you MUCH greater proportional control than any pistol grip radio...."thumbsup"

I have my rear steer on a trim switch on the grip of the 4pl. The switch moves the servo in 20% increments if I remember correctly. However this can be adjusted between 1 and 100 depending on how much control you want. Or there is the option of the built in 4ws mix, but I still prefer the switch to the mix.
