MNRCRC club members. Looks like some dbag decided carve something at the battle creek park in St. Paul. It's a reference to the mn crawlers comp and scale FB page.

Below is a post from Chris Wall on FB. If you have any info, please pm Chris or myself. We're just a bunch of grown up kids with bigger better toys. Even though we don't want to we gotta act like grown ups once and a while.

With the amazing growth of the group this summer, events held and new friends made ive received my first NEGITIVE News about the group .
This info has really bummed me out being our next event is to be held at this location ..

I have limited info as i've not seen it first hand but i was informed that the cliff face at BATTLE CREEK PARK has been defaced with "MN CRAWLERS" ..

At this time this is all the info i have but i feel this is extremely negative towards the group in the public eye and may lead to possible eightysix'ing from local, regional or state parks and is very counter productive to the groups goal of being the premier trailing group.

I'm gonna handle this a little different and inquire on info here publicly .
I feel this is a public group and we as members should hold ourselves to a higher standard then this type of behavior , pick you trash up , be respectful to the other park users and especially the land . In some eyes these truck do a lot of damage to the terrain.

SO ANY ONE WITH INFO ON THE INDIVIDUAL(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS AT BATTLE CREEK PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PM ME OR JUST POST IT UP . I WOULD LIKE TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS !
VERY BUMMED ... FOR SOME THIS IS A HOBBY OTHERS ITS LIFE.

As our hobby grows, if we don't work to try and take care of the places where we can run at trucks at places will start putting restrictions on us like they are on the flyers.
Didn't see it at first when was their on Saturday, but had it pointed out. People have been carving in the sandstone for a long time, and what ever they put is temporary, but it does speed up the erosion.

See if you can get the club together to help clean it up. Maybe offer a club day to pick up trash in the park etc. Let them know you care about the place ASAP. Maby offer a reward kick in 10 bucks a pice to help find out who did it. We had this happen to one of the the best local places and now they call the cops if you have an rc there.

Correction:

Sounds like someone carved the words into the sandstone hills at battle creek.

It's already washing out but still visible.
