ok, so we all know about the tranny problem. hey, it is what it is. and i am gonna assume that we have vented our frustrations by now and are over it. again, it is what it is......so here's what i'm thinkin. .i gots me a spare set of tranny gears from HH that are very warped and i aint using them. so today i machined a flat piece of steel and i'm gonna throw it in the oven with the warped gears on it. hopefully, the warped gears will then lay flat. i dunno how well it will work or if it will work at all. ..just gonna gradually increase the oven temp until the gears become soft. or maybe use the broiler and the top rack so i can "flash" heat them.
i've done this before on plastics i've machined, but in a controlled environment..
will keep all posted on the results...
