Yup... pulled the trigger... bought the kit, got the green one...

What is getting thrown in...
• Castle Mamba-X and 1800kv motor
• 45kg servos
• Hurtz Dig with Reefs micro servo
• Rear steer
• Injora Beadlocks
• 1.9 Trepadors
• Radiomaster MT12
• Treal brass steering knuckles.
• Incision drive shafts

Having never had a VP RC (used plenty of their parts in my XR10 and other rigs), I don't know if I should keep the shocks or thrown on a new set of 90mm Rock Lizards.

Pics will be thrown up when I get the whole mess together.

Build Notes:
• Chemicals... Gear lube and thread lock are provided, however, the manual does not call out recommend places to use either.
• Motor mounting. Wait to put the motor in place until after the transmission is built. Clocking for the wires and setting backlash really cannot be done until the transmission is built.

If you do decide to swap shocks, the new Reefs shocks are pretty solid from what I've heard/read. Not ordered a set up myself, but nothing to really put them on atm either. Lots of good reviews. They are more than the rock lizards, but thats not new.

vanquish has pushed an update on some of the shock parts. i havent heard/seen any one have them yet but i will keep mine unbuilt off to the side and wait to hear about them

i got some of the associated ones they use on the enduro

I bought a set of them but they're sitting in the parts bin for now. Very smooth, but a good bit less travel than the S8Es. I'll find a home for them at some point.
