Who's up for a GTG at Busse Woods this Sunday? I briefly spoke with a couple of guys at the meeting we had last Saturday, figured I would post up here and see who all wants to join, and what time works best for everyone.

I'm open on the time somewhat, let me know your thoughts.
Of course this is weather-permitting

How about NOONISH?? As long as weather permits, it should be a good time. Looking cool (60) and dry. "thumbsup"

Noonish should work for me, I will call you on Saturday to confirm, hopefully the weather cooperates, and hopefully I win a fortune betting on the Kentucky Derby too

I will also give Bob a call to discuss.

I'm a total noob to crawling and have a totally stock AX-10 (a week old) but i'd like to come by for the meet.

Looks like Bob P. aka "RockFink" will be coming out, that makes four or five of us now?

Anyone have gate markers feel free to bring them along, I only have enough for 4 gates I think.

Well Josh (xirtic) and I did some crawling at this location earlier today, the weather was absolutely perfect and the location shows to be a great spot for some comps with endless possibilities for course layouts. This spot will be good for scalers, 2.2's and Supers no doubt.

There is no question that this will be a GREAT location. As CED stated, there are literally ENDLESS course layouts. In comparison to the total ROCK area, we only drove on a small portion. MULTIPLE comps could be held here and none of the possible courses would be like the previous ones. The larger rocks that are secured by poured concrete are just super. This area is challenging in the aspect that you need to pick a good line to avoid high-centering and to make some of the climbs. Traction is VERY good, kind of reminded me of the extreme traction at Orland HT. (OK...not that extreme, but it is not a dusty surface that offers little bite.) Simply, it was a good time, and well worth the drive for you southern guys. "thumbsup"
