Looking for a lightweight receiver? I found out from a customer who builds robots that GWS receivers come in 75MHz now.

I've ordered a couple for testing, to see how they work. One's destined for the Mini-T, maybe the other will go in the long-delayed 1/32 project.

I <believe> they're positive shift, which means JR/Airtronics compatible. We'll find out when they get here. Worst-case scenario, I'll use 'em with the Futaba 6-channel I run the tow truck on.

Scroll down til you see them. Your choice of 4 or 6 channel. 4 channels $20.99, 6 channels $27.99, plus special mini crystal.

Probably not waterproof. But for the price of an AM receiver you can have FM. Update when they arrive.

Holy slow shipping! Well, I finally got my receivers and crystals, installed one in the Mini-T, and it works a treat! Haven't range-checked it yet, but it should be more than adequate for crawling. No glitches in the driveway test.

Just the thing for those gram-counter builds. This thing weighs nothing. I think I'll stick the other one in the 1/12 scale pan car. I don't think it'll benefit the TXT that much

I used GWS products on my electric heli (TRex) before since its cheaper to get, and have no problem with it.
