H10 Optic RTR - as in Ready to Rock!

Speaking of wires, does anyone have any slick tricks to hide / tidy light bar wires? Particularly when they're individual light pods (4). I've got the Meus Racing light bar and looking to hide or at least help conceal the wiring routing. Earlier I attempted to route and pull them all towards what would be the passenger side of the rig, and then wrap them in spiral wrap, and zip tie that to the lower part of the light bar cage. Obviously the tiny little wires are delicate, and I must have dislocated one in the 3rd light pod. (It would blink on and off with some jiggling, but then crapped the bed completely.)

I had some other pods that I swapped in (with some extensive modification), but still need to hide and conceal the wires and don't want to jack up another light pod. To make matters worse, the wire lengths are not consistent length even going to the same pod. Basically, I want to pull all the wiring to the right in the pic below to eventually enter in the roof line right by the passenger A-Pillar.

not many options. I generally used Zip Strips. maybe some of the mesh loom to put them all through on the outside, small hole where each set of wires exits to the pods?

Heat shrink tube but it is a bit rigid imo.

There are different types of wire loom. I think this looks the best: Amazon

I got the Hobbywing FusionPro 2300 installed. I'm starting with a 13T pinion, and standard 56T spur. I'm looking for good baseline settings for the program car. Anyone have a good setup they'd like to share?

Below is what I set for now - I've never run this set up before, so if anyone has any suggestions please chime in. (y)

1.) Running Mode: 2
2.) Lipo: Auto 1
3.) Cut Off Volt: 3
4.)Thermal: 1
5.)Motor Rot: 1 CCW
6.) BEC 2 / 7.4v
7.) Drag Brake: 8
8.) Drag Brake Rate: 5
9.) Max Reverse: 2 (50%)
10.)Max Brake: 9 (100%)
11.) RPM Decrease: 4
12.) Punch: 9
13.) Neutral Range: 3 (8%)

Looks fine to me to start. You'll quickly find out if you want to change things like the strength of the drag brake, etc.

Yep, I've heard and seen good things. I have the Hobbywing AXE system in my Capra and it's been awesome. Seems like the Fusion systems have gotten that much better!

I have the same power system in mine. Can't recall changing anything in the settings. That said it was awhile ago I set it up. I have mostly crawled in an area that is a combo of sand, boulder and loose rock. and its been great. Did you adjust the stock setting on the drag brake at all? I recall mine being great out of the box

I set it at 8 - I can't remember if that was the stock parameter or not. Basically, I googled some settings for the Optic with this system and plugged in suggested values. I really won't know until I run it, but it's easily tuned so no biggie. (y)

I received and installed the links from HARDCORE RC on the Optic. Not strictly necessary, but I thought it was a nice touch that he color codes the links and provides a "key" on the packaging. The links are nice quality and the high clearance lowers in the rear should pay dividends. I will say that I had to re-purpose the front upper skid side pivot ball as it has the stand off to make up the wide gap there. The standard pivot ball would float around a bunch in the gap. All in all no biggie though. Getting pretty close at this point, now if the damn weather would cooperate!
