Come-on guys....tell the truth

This being a rock crawling "ONLY" site and the fact that most of you can only dream of actually doing some 1:1 crawling, its only obvious that you would say "I would rather walk then drive a n H2"...grrrrrr

But truth be told, most of you don't have access to any terrain worth offloading and the only rock crawling you will ever experience will be driving off your sidewalk with your 84 Buicks.

IM sure that if given the chance, you would pick an H2 over any of the rides mentioned above.

I drive 2 Tahoes on 24s and we also have an Escalade on 28s and airbags....there is nothing else I would rather be in than my trucks....

Their are only a handful of you guys that can answer this honestly and would rather drive a Jeep then an H2

Maybe it has to do with me living in L. A

I'd rather drive a H2 than a Heep :flipoff:

Toyota's are an easier build and can wheel the piss out of any Heep.

For the price I'd take this.

Aggy, I'd take a Rubicon over either the H2 or H3 ANY day.

At least the Rubicon has potential. :flipoff:

My truck in my sig would run over any H2 or H3, and it ain`t even done !
And thats my honest, off roader`s opinion.
Oh yeah, I would also take my 89 2wd F 150 with a 351 lighting engine tow rig named Trigger over an H2 or H3.
Maybe that`s cause I live in the Midwest. Git R Dun!

Beats the heck out of the "You own what?!" BS.

Very true, I'm still not sure about wether or not the rubicon is a quality vehicle. Some
people have nothing but trouble. There's been all sorts of quality related issues IE
front outer shaft ears distorting and popping u-joint caps (I know a couple of people
who lost knukles this way. The rear axle seal problem, where the timken seal jeep
used was too small for the housing, I went thru 4 dealer visits with the rear axle seal
BS before I decided to pay for the seals and do it myself. Lately there's been alot of
carrier failures in the newer build date rubi's. 2 Stock rubi's in moab where down the
first day, but that could have been operator failure..... but I ramble....

go to your nearest hummer dealer and ask which is a better offroader a chevy 1500 or a H2. If he says H2 kick him in the leg really hard LOL

why should you kick him, truthfully i would do better, it has a better aproach and departutre angle, not to muention larger tires and more of an agressive tread...

all they share is the fram e and some drivetrain components

that pile of **** needs 500 horse power. I'm sorry but 300 isn't enough to push around that 8000lbs + piece of poo! 300 hp sounds like a lot but just ain't up to the task of the Hummers. 8 people?.....where? did they re-design the interior? I remember 2 in the front, three in the middle and one in the very back. There was only one seat in the third row because the spare tire took up all the room back there. what a joke!
As for it being a capable off roader or a luxury SUV....well......Their commercials tout it as the most capable 4x4 on earth and they show it tackling all kinds of terrain. I would expect it to do what they say it can do......all though....all of their new commercials do show a woman behind the wheel........now that is sad!!!!

if you get the H2 with the spare on the tailgate it holds 3 in the back just like a tahoe/suburban

and the comercials show it driving through a field of snow or through the desert

if you want more hp outta the H2, call Lingenfelter, they'll give you 700:

i bet a 2WD V6 1500 wouldn't get as far as a H2.

I ment the best 1500 they have on the lot thats is a 4x4.
the only offroading we ever did in a escalade was when we pass people by driving up on to a curb. It was more of a work hourse, pulling out trees and hauling a bike around

ok so a 1500 with the Z71 oackage is gonna do better then their best H2? Sorry, aint gonna happen

as far as those 2 trucks are conserned it's gonna come down to tires. and the H2 has big ol' BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A's
