Will the HB rovers work on the stock xr10 wheels without any mods?

Yes i ran them on mine then i narrowed the stock wheels and still run them with no problems

what does narrowing the wheels do?

Gives you more steering throw.
Makes the tire a little taller and a little narrower......and all around seems to work better IMO.

Yup you said it all the stock wheels are to wide at 2.4 wide i narrowed mine to 0.98 and it made a huge difference better steering and mor steers throw as well
