Heavy duty servo horns.

Just about any metal horn would be stronger than plastic. Hanger 9, Racer's Edge, Dynamite and OFNA among others sell those in all kinds of configurations. All you need to remember is that Futaba uses a 25 spline output shaft and a 2mm screw.

Losi has a futaba pitch horn that is very strong. We had alot of people complain about the dynamite arms bending. I 've done in 2 myself. JR just came out with a HD arm but I did not see a Futaba application for it.

Some of those plastic arms that came with my hitec seemed pretty stout.
I also like the idea of my arm failing, before my $100 servo :P

I don't know if this in an option or not, but check if you have the clearance to move your servo back a 1/4" or so...

improves approach, and reduces arm hangups :D

Got a link to this? Just got a new 8711 and my 650m will bend the Dynamites

Believe me, even a Hitec servo will bend an aluminum servo horn before the servo fails.

SWB works on my 40 percent scale airplane, they are the best servo arms.

Go SWB

also the JR arm is a split arm and will work on hitec fyi

The SWB looks like it sits pretty close in to the servo, I'm digging it. I think I'll just order a 2", drill a hole where I need it and cut the rest off. I kinda figure the predrilled holes in the shorter one could be a weak point.
