After working a long, boring day, I came home, pulled out my Saitek X45 (yes, I know, it's ancient, but whatever, it still works just like brand new), plugged it in, updated drivers, and decided to plan a flight in flight simulator.

So, I open Active Sky 2012, it needs an update. Great. So I update it. Takes... 2 hours (it's a Service Pack), including selecting new settings. So, I finally open up Flight Simulator, and spend almost 3 hours planning out a flight. That's 3 hours of looking at the flight path, checking various weather websites for forecasts, current conditions, wind, etc, and making sure that AS2012 has those weather stations loaded.

So, I pick out the plane I'm going to fly (P-38 Lightning, mmmm), and I... Go all ADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. Seriously. I alt-tabbed, and spent several hours reading webcomics. Now, it's time to go to bed... And... My plane is still sitting at the airport, engines off, power off... I never even started it up.

Oh well. I have tomorrow off... After I ride the bike and run my RC car (and drive my 1:1 car a bit... Thank goodness gas has come down in price!), I'll re-do the weather planning, and have another go. :p

Probably won't make it off the ground, I'm sure something with come up to distract me D:
