Help: Amp draw on a 4.5 bl motor?

Hallo

I just got a 4.5turn brushless motor the weekend thanks to Pauls that swapped it for my 10.5T. Its a Novak motor running on a GTB ESC.

So what I heard was that you multiply the C-rating of the battery with the MAH (divided by 1000) to get the AMP draw the battery can handle. So Amp-draw=C x (MAH/1000)

So my 5200mah 20c batter can handle 100amp draw. But I have a Lipo alarm screaming in my ear every time I touch the throttle to quickly. So the question is what is the amp draw of a 4.5T BL motor?

Thanks

I think the lipo alarm is either faulty, or faulty battery itself, I'd check that stuff 1st, thats happened to me once before and it turned out to be the alarm itself

That motor is very capable of drawing 100+ amps.

As batteries get older, their current carrying capability decreases. If that battery is more than a couple years old, it may be the equivalent of a 15C or even 10 c battery.

The alarm is brand new and works perfectly, it only sounds when I push full throttle and when the battery is below the safe voltage.
The battery is still good, I bought a new 3600mah 30C battery but havent run it as I was told the discharge on the 5000mah battery is more then the 3600mah.

So basically the question is which battery do I need to run full throttle on the Wraith with sand paddles.

Thanks for the help so far.
