Hera is up and running "thumbsup"
I just went for a little spin on 4s. I think the 55t was actually faster than
the 14t puller.
Low end control in 1st gear is amazing! I may need to move
down a spur size though as 2nd was a little slower than I'd like.
The 4ws is working. I need a bec, throttle keeps cutting out when turning.
The 2 speed is working.
She's running 4 fully loaded Mayhem Engineering Double Fatties.
I'll most likely add more weight to them.
The wheel base is 13.875"
Both axles have VP Knuckles, CHubs, 4 link Truss and Axial Universals
The front shocks are Traxxas 3.5" and the rear are Wraith shocks.
I still need to install the lockers.
There seems to be a lot of front end slop.
It seems like all the rod ends are a little loose in there mounts...
like the pillow balls are to small for the Wraith mounts.
you can see how low the Summit trans sits in the chassis, the top is about the same height as the top of the shock tower.
A much lower cog than when I had it in Buxom Melons.
I made a shock tower sway bar for the rear plastic towers, like I have in Melons.
I think I'm going to need to drill a couple holes in the chassis for the rear upper links.
This is a temporary setup, it's working but limits flex, I have about 2/3 of a tire.
I bent the front upper links to clear the drive shaft. Now they are a little short.
I'll extend them to pitch the axle more... and get a better drive shaft angle.
There seems to be added slop in the front end with the bent links...
I still need a panhard bar.
Ryan created a mounting point on the chassis but I'll need to get a Dinky truss for the axle.
For some reason, I had to add a lot of space in both drag links to center the servo.
And, the tie rod too...
The 4ws is working fine in all modes thanks to Harley's easy to follow video."thumbsup"
