It's very similar to trophylite game 2xl put out but short course. I enjoy it, but I'm a sucker for any offload racing game lol.

Now if we could get someone to actually make a true short course/desert truck racing game for consoles!

BAJA: Edge of Control is about the closest to a true desert racing game I've found.

Already own it and sadly it failed horribly. It was great effort but there were some issues I had with it. I actually think DiRT series was actually closest, but took out raid and desert trucks in latest version.
