Just got a new HiTec 645 the other day. Installed it on my TLT rig. Also bought a Nitro Servo Regulator because I am running 8.4V. I am using a Novak XRS ESC.

after soldering everything, I noticed that the servo was making this rapid clicking noise. it doesnt make it while centered, but when you apply pressure or turn the wheel with controller then it makes a faint clicking (almost like a pop).

I really dont want to fry the electronics on this servo since I am using 8.4 volts. I'm hoping its just the gears that havent been worked in.

The Servo Regulator was installed correctly according to the directions. (do I turn on both the Regulator and ESC or just regulator?)

Does anyone think they know what may be causing this?

you do know that those servos are only rated to 6 volts any more than that and you will fry it........
