Hitec X1 Charger Help

I tried to use my Hitec X1 Mini charger today, but the balance board's connector wouldn't fit into the X1's balance port. The board's connector looks like a 6S while the X1 only goes up to 4S...



The balance lead on my 2S battery fits inside the X1 balance port, and I'm wondering if I need the balance board at all.



If this isn't how it works and if I need a board, where can I get one that fits? Thanks

That charger only does up to 4s, so you just plug your battery balance plug in the charge like you showed.

In the first three holes, putting the last pin on the 2?

That's correct, for a 3S battery, use ports: -,1,2,3

On the charger, the last one on the right is the ground symbol. On the battery balance plug, the ground wire is always black, on the right side, with the 2 tiny fins on top.
