i just order one and it be going on a sidewinder v3 i cant find any info our videos on it runing on the esc so posting on here to see if any one has ran the motor on the esc befor? i did email holmes hobbies and got this email back

The Revolver motors will work with the Axial AE-3 and Sidewinder 3. However, sensorless startup is not very good compared to the Sidewinder 4. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

The motor won't be the issue, so you can look up vids for the sidewinder with any outrunner motor. I've been looking at sensorless outrunners like the HH Revolver and the vid below is similar with a Turnigy 1450kv motor and a Sidewinder. The key is NOT to overgear a sensorless motor. If they don't strain at low RPM they don't cog much, just don't expect a speed demon.

The SW4 has much better software and updated hardware to allow better slow speed and startups, hence the email reply.

Don't get the SV3, period. It's an old, outdated ESC that was never great in the first place.

its all ive got and i tell you its not bad at all but yeah am going to save for a sidewinder v4 but for now the sideinder v3 is not bad
