Wasn't able to search it out. For an AX10 comp shafty, how are people programming their BRXL's? I read somewhere that turning on the Holmes Hold and 100% dragbrake causes some sort of problem. What's a good starting point for a 5lb TorqueMaster 35T on 3S? Haven't picked a pinion yet but maybe 14-16.

With the Holmes hold you want the brake set around the 40% mark.
Personally I don't think you need the Holmes hold on a sporty.
I ended up going to 90%. I still like my sporty to roll through a little bit.

Yeah, I've never used the Hold so don't know if I'll like it. With a previous FXR I experienced occasional roll-back upon releasing the trigger, resulting in penalties. I was hoping the Hold was a fix for that.

The hold will stop that.
I use the Holmes hold on my super set at 40% you can pick the rig up with one wheel and it doesn't roll through

Start with regular drag brake at 100% (stock settings) and see if that is strong enough. If not, turn on the Hold and reduce drag to 40 or 30% and start working up. If the hold is too high the motor will buzz and your battery will drain faster than normal.

I thought I read it goes higher, if adjusted using the castle link...
but what percentage before the buzz kill/drain occurs ?

I recently purchased your WP BR/XL for my 1/6 scale build...
...I like it a bunch so far
but, my 1/6 build is much heavier then my SCX-10 chassis...
so I think I'll be wanting more drag brake for the 1/6.

I like it so much...
that I think I need get another for muh SCX-10 8)

great product ! "thumbsup"
