Homemade Clod Chassis - NEW PICS

Hey... i decided to make a custom chassis for my clod. This is what I got in a days work... whats your opinions?

Made from a street sign. 1/4-20" allen key screws 3" long, 1/4-20" lock nuts. 4-40 allen key screws 1.5 or 2" long, 4-40 lock nuts, aluminum tubing, brass tubing for top link mounts mounted with body clips. Let me know what you think....

Some specs:

WB - 18.5" but adjustable to be longer or shorter which will increase or decrease the center ground clearance.
Ground Clearance - 5.5"

Thanks..... the sign is aluminum... I though i would need a metal cutting jigsaw blade, but I tried a blade meant for wood with 7 teeth per inch and it worked great... very impressed...

I can say that NOTHING in heavy's pic is photo shopped.I have saw the chassy in person and saw it work awsome.I kinda thought that the aluminum would bend but it has taken a beating so far and has held up.

The chassis design looks familiar... :| But I guess imitation is the best form of flattery.

looks familiar to what? im just curious... because when i made this chassis i just went with a simple design that i thought might work well...
