House's Generic Ti-Fighter

Well, good news and bad news. First comp yesterday and it performed very well.
I did have some sort of steering failure though, most likely water related. This netted me
my very first 50 point DNS, but luckily it was on the last course and I still got 1st place.
SO, first comp, first place, first DNS, and a non-running car. Mixed emotions! LOL:roll:

edit: In hind sight, I guess I should have just started the course without steering and taken
a 40 instead of a 50, huh? Is that even legal?

No, it isn't waterproof. Poor planning on my part, all I needed was a
Wal Mart bag in my pocket to keep it covered with. Next time! "thumbsup"

Definitely a water related issue, as it works fine now that everything is dry.
Unfortunately I don't know if it was the radio, receiver, BEC, or servo...!

Added a little weight to the front and like the feel. Pretty sure my Block Lizard
tires are not working the best. Need to drop the ride height a bit too,
as it sits a little high for my liking, although the breakovers are amazing!
Not quite sure if it was designed into it or not, but it seems to "inch worm"
a little more than my liking too...

Fixed the inch worm problem by limiting the shocks internally so the droop
is much less now. Also lowered it another half inch or so. Also another wet
comp so took the rock spider cab off and threw an X-Citer on for the day.
Ran full size VooDoo's which were a little too plump for my liking, but seemed
to grip on the wet rock very well...

Truck looks good...."thumbsup"

What on earth are you doing compin in the rain??

Im a fair weather driver, if its going to rain, im postponing it to a clear day...:lmao::lmao:

Thanks man!"thumbsup"
I used to be fair weather too, but anymore I am just happy to be playing on the
rocks with toy cars no matter what...

So I had a little 'tuning' time with it yesterday and I am figuring out that
the Losi blue springs on the back are a little too stiff to let it settle down
the way it should. It also seemed to handle the boss claw size voodoos a
little better than the boss claws themselves... Although I still really like
the "feel" of good broke in BC's a little better. What are you other guys
with SDS Fighters running?

Changed her up some more and ready for another practice run...
This is how she currently sits at full droop. Not enough?
