How do you carry your riding gear?

I've been riding for a long time. From the start of it I've always rode with a hydration pack. I love my camelback mule that I'm currently using. I'm on hydration pack number something. It's a good size for the long epic rides. The problem is and always has been its too big for the quick short rides. I've just kind of dealt with it for those quick rides.

Lately I've been eyeing out these hip packs. I've seem them online, local shops, and some larger retail stores. The local riders I run into on the trail all say they love them. I was down at one of my lbs and was talking with a guy and he really likes his too.

So I decided to get this osprey pack and try it out. Holds one bottle. I can get a few co2's, inflator, multi tool, patch kit, keys and wallet in it. At first it felt odd wearing it. But after using it and miles on the trail I hardly knew it was there. Much more comfortable than my hydration pack. I can carry two more bottles on my bike so I have plenty to drink on these short rides and my camelbak for my long rides.

I can even use another option with my two bottles on my bike and my seat bag for something even those hour rides.

For thoses who ride how do you like to carry your gear and stuff?
