I was out running my MRC today and noticed a very hot motor 117 ( checked with a meat thermoter "thumbsup") How close is this to burning up other than real hot to the touch:?:

Sidewinder Micro
Insane 370
14 tooth pinion
2 cell lipo

only 117 hell it gets that hot here where i live, my lcc xcellron motor gets up to 150-160 after a comp with no issues so far and the mongoose in my mini hits 120 plus and has done so for over a year and is still running strong

Yuo should be fine still, if it makes you feel better, drop your pinion size a notch or two. Also I tend to go by touch on the temp, if
I can keep my finger on it, it's still okay.
