Hey guys,
Been on and off with the hobby for a number of years, my R1 roller has never run and has sat for 7 years, and during these quarantine days I've made it a goal to try to get it to run, and i definitely have the crawler bug back.
Question, how much should the male and female ends of the drive shaft overlap. I'm running the Junfac hardened steel shafts and i have only about 1/2" overlap on my rear shaft (seems short), overall length from one end of cup to the other is 4". Would this be ok? New batteries and charger are on order so i haven't been able to run it/test it. Are there any tips/rules you guys adhere by? I may need to get myself a longer drive shaft for the rear from MIP etc. if this is an issue.
Thanks in advance for the help!
