How the fawk can this happen?

I have a 08 mitsu outlander (killer little SUV) I bought it for my wife cause we needed something that would seat 7 and I didnt want to spend a fortune. (out the door xls fully loaded 22,000)
Anyhow, for the first two or three months I fought and fought to keep it clean. Finally I got tired of emptying the trash every other day so I told my wife that I wasnt going to clean it ever again. Still everyonce in a while I would go out and remove all the trash. Finally a few months ago I lost my patience. I decided I had had enough and refused to do anything but routine maintance (oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, changing/refilling fluids).
Well let me tell you, that car looked horrible, not as bad as this lady's but it was awful. The only clean floor board was the driver seat, and even it had stuff floating around in it.
So yesterday I decided I was going to do a deep clean, and get everything out, clean all the surfaces remove all the shit.
I pulled the third row seat out, pulled tha carpet and scrubbed it till it looked as close to brand new as its going to get. Then I did the same with the second seat (yeah, word of advice if anyone is thinking of doing this with an outlander... get help with that drivers side second row seat. I put it on the scale, 115lbs)
Now if only have to do the front. And so help me god if another piece of trash enters that car, I'll burn it to the ground.

And my wife wonders why I stay on her about a clean vehicle.

bondt that apt is nasty, The fine example of laziness.

My friend rents a room to this guy he works with - and his car looks just like that. The entire backseat and passenger seat are filled with McDonalds bags and who knows what else.

god my 90 yr old nighbor lady is like that her whole house and she had to stop using 2 cars because they become storage bins now!!!! and her new van is the same!!
