Lets share our experiences and accumulate the most usefull tips and tricks here on bending, heating, and molding delrin plastics.

I am going to order some delrin plate and wanted to heat and form it to make a better skid plate/jock strap for the upcomming VP currie axles. Anyone done that before?

To make a belly pan/skid plate for a scaler, could you use 3/16" delrin and heat in the oven, then bend up the wings to form a sort of boatside look to the skid that would also double as rock sliders under the door/cab area.

Anyone got any pics of successfully chemicaly welding delrin plastic together?

Has anyone used the fiber impregnated delrin plastic that is apparenlty much stronger and more expensive than regular pure delrin? Differences in rigidity between the pure and fiber reinforced stuff?

Comments and pics of your ideas please!!!
