Hey, does anyone know how to setup just to engrave something??

I want to engrave onto sheet metal in emachineshop, but I can't figure it out.. i don't want to cut the hole way through..

Set the debth shallower than the thickness of the material. i.e. .5 mm on a 3mm piece of aluminum

I have a example file I can email you if you want, just pm me your email.

All I did was draw a rectangle, selected my material and used the text tool to create my text. After I had it lined up where i wanted it, I right clicked on it, choose 'machine...' and choose mill 3 axis. The emachineshop program did the rest. Afterwards, you can adjust the depth
