Well today I was trying to get a little practice in. I know the rig is capable but I am worried about the driver. Well towards the end of my practice session, I was test my throttle control on a pretty steep incline. I was about a foot from the top and it stood up on me, so I hit reverse. Well apparently I need to adjust my FXR's, because when I hit reverse it did a freaking back flip and landed on the corner of the cab. Needless to say my cross brace is the only thing holding that piece on. I am wondering how to repair this. I emailed T1E about buying a new cab, but if thats not possible, then I need a fix. Thanks in advance.. Here is a pic of the damage...

CF can't be "repaired" to get the original integrity back.
In this case it's either a replacement of the part (expensive, but get it back to original state) or just glue another piece of material at the side of the breakage (cheap, adds weight).

Well since it broke the fibers unevenly, ( leaving a saw blade looking, jagged edge) I decided to try CA glue. And to my surprise it is really strong. I do not know how it will so in a rollover. But its clean and together. I can pick the rig up by the broken area, so that's strong enough for now. Just need to keep it on all fours. Will be ordering a new topper soon.

If it doesn't hold, which I doubt it will on another fall at any height, you could try the small pieces reinforcement idea as well, one on both sides of the break. But since this is a temp fix and you are ordering a new one, it may be more trouble than it's worth. Breaking the CF all the way like that is pretty much hopeless to fix. EGB broke a wheel face on his rig but it didn't break all the way, just sort of bent/splintered. He was able to infuse it with CA and then press it back into form. No issues since and I've seen him fall from a good height with it.

Yeah, I talked to rusty yesterday evening. And he said it would be about a week to get one. And I must say, I sent a pm to him and he sent his phone number. I called and he explained the new style chassis differences and everything, which one was best for each style of driving and so on. That is some stellar Customer Service..... I see myself sticking with T1E
