I was just wondering if any of you guys tried using these shocks on your super crawlers instead of savage type shocks. They are expensive though $85 for the rears and $75 for the front.

They are probably too heavy to have any advantage over the smaller shocks. Also savage shocks are rarely used due to their length.

Very view really run those shocks. Your better off finding some around the 90mm-120mm range..

Have you ever seen a Baja shock? It dwars savages by quite a bit. Unless your making a 1/5 crawler, I cant see any possible adavantages of running them. Plus, with a $160 price tag, I cant see anyone shelling out that kind of dough for shocks.

Why not? People spend that much on tires,ESC's and more...why not shocks? If it might give an edge over someone....they'll sell, you can bet on it.

I'd agree though, they are to big...unless your gonna build a 1/5 or 1/4 scale rig.
