I've got an older e10 (gt4 special edition) that I would like to put back together... It's completely stock and I was wondering what my first upgrade should be. The plastic drive shafts seem to me to be a weak point, but they held up to a velineon system ( the spur gear shredded before anything else)

After just changing the motor in mine to the hpi 15t I had to upgrade the plastic motor mount to aluminum.
I also got the aluminum drive shaft.

Other cheap mods I did was upgrade to some old oil filled rs4 shocks. I also made out of aluminum stock, shock tower braces and a plate the runs the length on the chassis between the shock tower braces. Eliminates all flex.

Fun little car
