I'm wanting to put D-ring shackles on my Honcho bed..I'd like to put them on the bottom rear tube. What I need is ideas and or solutions to this problem....LOL I know I could probably buy a flat mount with the four bolts in it and put them behind the bar.But that's not what I'm after. So think away and share I'm drawing a blank..Here's some pics..

I was thinking that you would bolt them to the underside of the Honcho bed floor and let them "dangle".

How about some solid aluminum rod threaded on each end and passed thru the yeah racing d rings around the bottom tube like an exhaust clamp?

Here is what I did with mine, I added a metal bumper (+3 points ) and it now kills a few birds with the same stone :)

In the place of led lights put rod ends(without ball) with m3 screw on the other side. If you want to keep the led put a rod end in the middle with the same m3 screw on the hole you will drill it. If you have aluminium one it is better.

That's what I was going to suggest. Mount the flat plates to the round bar by using a u bolt.

To prevent them from spinning around the round stock, grind a flat spot into the bar where the flat plates will sit.

A clamp might work but where would I get some so small...lol I could make some out of long screws maybe....But then I'd be buying D-rings and the mounts and all I need is the mounts.

You have this exact thread posted twice?

Yes once in paint and body and once here.....There's nothing wrong with that.. Maybe paint and body guys don't look in scx10 II..And maybe scx10 II guys don't look in paint and body..
