yeah i did search that is how i found the axial tranny as a option in the frist place. just could find anything on the dig and im really thinking i may just switch to a r1 or wraith why build what you can buy!!!

If youre gonna run an AX trans and dig Id say go over to the AX/Scorpion forums and look at the set ups they have...youll face exactly the same issues installing an AX trans/dig in a Creeper...there are a few differnet dig units available for the AX trans and each one has its own headaches and solutions.

price was the only issue i thought it would be cheaper to just buy a new kit? plus i dont wanna ditch the creeper. i just want some speed. i was lookiing at the r2d tranny as well.i seen one installed and the driveline angles look crazy so im kinda thinking of keeping the creeper as a crawler.arent you running a ax tranny? whats ur advice on that over the creeper again im just gonna keep the creeper as is. im

RM is running the stock creeper trans. i am one of few on this forum that is running a axial trans in a creeper and i AM the only that is running a AX trans in a XRv2 chassis.
it depends on what your looking for, if u want to go with a new kit. if you just want more speed then get a friggen traxxas slash or rustler or something that u can add some speed too. crawlers are ment for crawling. unless you want to turn this crawler into a Foff rig then you are better off keepen it the way it is. most people that switch to a different trans switch because they are looking for the advantage of that trans in a crawler persective

i wanted a wraith type rig when i asked the question. this is only cause i havent been able to go crawl with creeper in awhile and be playin with my trail trekker. so was looking for some variety. but decided to just build a rock coarse in my shop so im sticking to the creeper as a crawler. and may just buy a r1 or wraith when funds allow.

5 mins with a 3s and i split a c hub in half! i just order stuff too! so i guess the creeper is down for a bit. gonna go aluminum for replacements. the speed i was looking for came with the the 11.1v 3s i think a 35t tekin and ill have what i want. thinking about going with a r1 chassis has anyone fitted a creeper tranny in that? i found some that put axials in and what not but havent seen a creeper?

bummer hub bearing gone to my hub off to fix the cvd pin again and no ball bearing half a race and 1 metal sleeve.

got a tube chassis on the way!! and bearing of course its the integy chassis i just love the look of those was gonna go r1/axail tranny but found the integy for 26 so money saved is going to new shocks and a 35t motor woot woot
