Im picking up a '95 eclipse gs from my brother for $6-700 it runs good needs a few minor things, like a power steering belt, weather stripping, paint, all easy stuff for me to do and I have been into building custom bagged mini trucks for 6 years now, and my dad owned one of the origanal import and mini truck shops in northern cali back in the 70's and 80's he has had 14 datsun 510's scene he started driving and I have owned 2 myself so im not completely new to the tuner scene, just out of the loop, im looking for places to get parts via the interweb"thumbsup"

is andys auto sport any good to order from?
 
We had a 510, with SSS heads, 5-speed, and LSD. That was a cool car.
Problem was at 14 when my dad offered it to me for a first car, I didnt want it, didnt realize how cool it was. Dumb, dumb, dumb. I had to have a 1969 Camaro instead - never got one. Did end up with a Datsun p/u - a slight twist there.
 
Yes DSM's are like meth...one hit and your hooked. One question though, why would you buy exhaust? Straight off the down pipe is the only way to go. Oh yeah and a 6 bolt swap.

GS isn't turbo'd though. So he will have problems finding the down pipe....:mrgreen:

I would love to own a first gen all-wheel turbo talon, just never hit high on the priority list I guess.

Did you just complain of driving a 69 camaro? WHAT THE F*%$!!!!! Wheathe is S$#% or not there wayyyy beastier than a 510!

Well f%^$ me runnin lol. All the more reason to do a 6 bolt swap!
 
I personally haven't used Andy's Auto Sports when I was working on my car. Did look at some of their stuff but never ordered. A friend of mine did, seemed alright. Did a lot better then the VFiber place I went through though
 
I used to run with the 2G guys in Phoenix quite a bit, even though I owned a 1g. It seemed that it took a ton of work to get those 420a's up to snuff. A good freind had a n/a that was built to the hilt, but he could never keep it together. Turbo is the way to go, but gets pricey.


Came across a pic of mine that was buried deep...never did get my damn wax. :x
