Indoor crawler course

Took the old course down, put a couple of 2x4’ sheets of plywood down to support the drop cloth. Pretty happy with the left side. The right not so much. Currently it’s stapled to the wall but the drop cloth doesn’t have enough rigidity to support the vehicles. My next idea is to drape it over some boxes against the wall. My other thought is to 3d print that section.

Testing the drop cloth course & some 3d printed pieces from RC Crawler Playground & Crawlagon. I pretty happy with the left side which isn’t in the video. I may end up combining the drop cloth with 3d printed pieces.

My old course got boring & just wasn’t challenging any more. Decided to start from scratch this time using 3d printed rocks. I printed some of the tile from RC Crawler Park as well as the Crawlagon starter pack. The tiles seemed to limit how you could put them together. So I started cutting the tiles off & just printed the rocks.

The original course was about 8’x18" so I enlarged it to about 8’x2’ then so I wasn’t hot gluing the rocks to the top I put a few pieces of left over siding from the barn on top for texture & gluing surface. Next step start arranging rocks & see what I can come up with.

The only piece of the old course is the turn around on top of the frig which is not included in the 8 ft but an addition to it.
