99.9% positive that this is the same guy on scale4x4rc that built the functional 1/8th scale V8's. He was building a chassis for the engine the last time that I was on there. ( it's been a while...)

imo those kinds of people get more into the process than anything. just tune everything in the world out and super focus on every little detail.

I used to build model cars. and I was very meticulous about the damn mold lines on every part. I stopped building models cause I don't have much time between racing, rebuilding, staring at my crawlers, and work.
