and the Armageddon truck is a rip of Scale Art from Germany....Seems like business goes round and round..:ror:

I felt really bad to see the Armageddon truck when it was launched. Its nothing close to the Scale Art trucks:cry:

For me its not practical to import such beautiful, expensive rc models so I am gonna build those for myself. I am willing to build a Man 8x8 truck, Cat Bulldozer, l&T Excavator and may be some thing more as I go ahead....It might take me almost a year to get it all done. Here is some of my work on a Man 8x8
May be I will start a build thread on it...

And from when did people from china get time to become passionate about product designing and put in the time and effort to design them right from scratch. We all know when the rc4wd products were sold by rc4wd, there was no one chinese seller selling them on ali, alibaba or ebay...

When you say china, I just don't believe its all designed by them!!!
I think rc4wd has designed their products in their own R&D department and must have got them manufactured from china.

There must have been a contract between Rc4wd and the chinese company which must have expired and that chinese company has now brought those products to the open market.

And I can tell you a lot about business integrity from china....

I was under the impression that Hua Zhang, the owner of rc4wd, was Chinese. I believe Shiniu Trading Co is the exporter or Chinese side of the business and rc4wd is the importer or US side of the business. Back in the day Hua used to post directly on the forums instead of having team drivers post for him. I may be wrong but was under the impression that rc4wd didn't really design much of the stuff they sell. They have used independent designers from various countries. Ie: katan, fracture, etc.

That's something I had no idea about... Its not mentioned on their website either. I guess you know that because you have been an old member here.

Now I know how that Defender D90 is selling on ebay..
They have now changed their marketing strategy...They are using all possible media to bring the brand name to the people.

Picture totally clear....:lmao:

i remember the hua days... talk about a guy who worked his ass off.

is he still at rc4wd?
