I have tsl xls on my wraith. They are great tires. The foams are horrible garbage though. Actually the foams work great as frame stands.

So they probably work well with glued on plastic wheels....or RC4wd bead locks (3 piece wheels like steelies). They do not hold a bead on VP wheels...I have two sets of swampers....Still looking for a wheel that works. Personally don't like the RC4wd products...

The swampers can be mounted on any VP wheel actually! I have a set mounted on omf's & have xl's mounted on slw's. I also have rc4wd,Duuuuuude,axial,motorworx & ci wheels that all have had swampers mounted on them. The hardest ones to mount & hold a bead was rc4wd & omf's! Carter fab offers the true 1" inners for 3pc vp wheels that allow any tire to be mounted much easier"thumbsup"

The axial rockstars is what I have the xls on. Honestly super easy. Rc4wd difficult. Stock ifd crap, impossible

I can assure you they do hold their bead, at least on the Method 105 that I have. I've bashed them good and hard on all sorts of terrain, never a single loss of bead.

i had a bitch of a time mounting my 1.9 tsl xls to a set of omf 1.9s. the prolines have a much more 1:1 bead design thats alot thicker than most the other tire manufacturers. ive also noticed when removing proline tsls from beadlocks they tend to pinch cut where the inner ring and outer rings compress the bead.

damn good tire tho.

IS the traction with the SS XL better than the GF stock tires ?

Ha, yes infinitely so. And so will other good quality R35 tyres be. I also have a set of Voodoo U4 and they're excellent for racing and bashing, the Swampers are best for crawling & trailing really.
