Sure they can. Did you ever notice that they're always done to rap music? That's because its so repetitive. You simply take the music and then find video clips with scenes that are equally repetitive or can be made repetitive through basic editing

I'm waiting for someone to do a good job on a good rock classic or something with a bit of variety to the rhythm.

Show me the Teletubbies doing some Soundgarden or Frank Zappa - then I'll be impressed!
