I should restate my comment about not seeing the rear cage mod on others. What i meant was leaving the main cage bars and bending them dowm and using a straight delrin rod to connect the Two as seen in the second photo.

Hell Yeah! Looks used and abused already "thumbsup" "thumbsup"

I was thinking about doing my cage like that too. Then I decided I want a dmg stiffy kit for it. Think I'll have him do a custom roof/rear chopped somewhat like that.

What gear ratio are you happy with? I'm running a brood 35t apoc gt and I found 80/20 was right combo for me. I wanted almost jogging pace speed for G6'n but, still have rock crawling torque. They had to tell some of us to stop running at the HRP G6, so no point in having a speed demon for g6'n if we can't run. Have to walk really fast ;-)

Glad to see your "Apocalyptic Wraith of Doom" up and running!!!

Thanks Rig Rocker.Well i just slapped in the Brood, havnt ran it yet, gearing im trying is gonna be 87/18 to start.I had a Jph 41 in there with this gearing and it was ok,deffinately not a speed demon,i got her set up for crawling. This Brood should kick it up a notch."thumbsup"See you in Sparks.

hi guys , just a thought about 35T motors . I'm not familiar with the brood brand but how do they compare to a holmes torquemaster expert 35T ?

Im sure they are comparable,I havnt personally owned a Holmes 35t, i know their a desired motor by many.I had this 35t brood in my xr-10 and it was wicked.

thanks for that , I have been looking for a 27T motor but not seen many using 35T. Looking for a good crawling motor that will still throw a roost , I might try a 35 instead , I am currently running 17.5T brushless and am building another rig for the wet season . (rainy tropical xmas here in far north Queensland ! )

Hit up EddieO for a Team Brood Apocalypse GT 30T and you will be haulin ass. And you still have crazy torque for crawling

thanks for the info , the site has a few holes in it but a ton of motors to choose from . Any reason for choosing the GT over the HHK ? apart from only going to 35T not 30T. going by what they say it has more torque, power & rpm , they sound the goods though.

"thumbsup" This thing is sick. I wish I knew how to bend those back pieces...do you use heat or something?

Thanks, yes you need to heat the plastic.I simply took my lighter and heated up the area to be bent.Just keep the flame moving so you dont melt the plastic then just tie the two together with a straight delrin rod.

You working tomorrow?if not, let's do some scaling at piping rock.G6 practice.
I got the trail dialed in right now,and with rain today, makes it even better.

I found some super thin copper sheet, almost foil that i wrapped my skins in today.I figured something different then the norm.
