I am proud to announce the following new products:

SCX10 Axle Trusses:

These trusses are designed to be lightweight, strong, and stylish as well as provide new mounting options for your SCX10 or AX10 rigs.

• Weighs only 7 grams each
• Allows you to convert from 3-link to 4-link or convert to a panhard link set-up
• Rotates the axle side upper link mount for better geometry
• Provides a Panhard link for the front axle, servo mount option available as well
• Made from Nylon 618 - can be dyed with Rit Fabric Dye

These will be available individually and as a combo.
Those converting from 3-link will need new upper links and rod ends.

SCX10 Panhard Chassis Mount:

This mount allows the panhard link to mount to the chassis of your SCX10.

• Weighs only 4 grams each
• Adjustable mount
• Double shear for strength
• Provides a mount for the Panhard link
• Made from Nylon 618 - can be dyed with Rit Fabric Dye

SCX10 CMS + Battery mount
This mount allows you to mount your steering servo on the chassis of your SCX10 based rig, with room for a small battery or electronics.

• Weighs only 7 grams
• Compatible with JK G6, JK Kit & RTR, and previous versions of SCX10
• Fits standard size servo
• Includes slots for battery velcro strap
• Use with either the electronics mount or mid mounted servo winch (with holes to mount rod ends to route winch line)

*Note - you may need to trim the back side of your bumper mounts for this to fit.

SCX10 Mid Mounted Servo Winch + Battery mount
This mount allows you to mount your winch servo on the chassis of your SCX10 based rig, with room for a small battery or electronics.

• Weighs only 7 grams
• Compatible with JK G6, JK Kit & RTR, and previous versions of SCX10
• Fits standard size servo
• Includes slots for battery velcro strap
• Use with CMS + Battery mount above - adds extra length for larger batteries

SCX10 Electronics mount
This mount allows you to mount your ESC/RX behind the CMS mount

• Weighs only 5 grams
• Compatible with JK G6, JK Kit & RTR, and previous versions of SCX10
• Fits most ESCs
• Includes holes for stock electronics box
• Use with CMS + Battery mount above when not using servo winch

These parts are 3D printed with either Nylon or ABS plastic. The print process has a specific texture, and does not produce perfectly smooth finishes like injection molding would. ABS comes in the colors shown above, and Nylon comes in only Natural (white) but can be dyed easily with Rit Fabric Dye.

I do offer custom combos to save you a few bucks

CMS mounted to a SCX10 JK Kit:

Notice the CMS mounts right against the front bumper mount. Also notice that the panhard truss has spots for a 4-link to mount, but you only use one side of the upper link mounts.

Thanks! I've been working on this design for almost a year, ever since I got my 3D printer. I've got more cool stuff coming soon too!

Any concerns about the panhard mount flexing with a hard enough lateral hit to the axle/tire?

There is not really any flex in the panhard mount, I have it triangulated pretty well, although ANYTHING will flex/break with a "hard enough" hit, but in 99% of what these vehicles see, I don't see any issues.

I have thought about double shear, but I'm not really that worried about the mount breaking. They were on the JK in the above pictures which was sold to The Crawl Space (mentioned below) and I don't think it will be an issue.

Here's what the other side of the truss looks like:

That little extra brace seems to make it much stronger.

Double shear isn't out of the question, but it would be harder to print the second shear mount since it would overhang into space. The printer could add support material between the pieces, but I'd have to play with the design to see what would work.

I'm considering getting some dissolvable filament so that things like that can be printed much easier, but it's a little expensive for waste material, and may drive up the cost a tiny bit. I think I wouldn't really want to mess with double shear until I tried with dissolvable filament.

I'm still waiting to hear what Ikaika thought about them. I had them on the JK at the Red Rocks scale comp a few months back, and no one really noticed them, but it was a good test to see how everything holds up. I didn't tumble down any huge hills, but the JK was top heavy, and rolled over a couple times.

I hope with some feedback from those that get their hands on the first few, I can edit the design and make something truly awesome.

I had a chance to check out the prototypes and do some "Hawaiian durability testing" and these trusses have held up very well.

The panhard mount on the prototype front truss is solid with zero to little flex. The truck would have to be a in a serious bind to cause any damage or potential breakage.
