I'm trying to figure out how to install my JEC Racing anti-roll bar. Using the stock mount with the included links causes them to fold against the trailing arms after the suspension extends. Conversely, using longer links would worsen the problem of the anti-roll bar contacting the cage and limiting travel. I've shortened the trailing arms since these photos. I tried inverting the installation by using the eyelets under the rear of the cage, but it renders the anti-roll bar ineffective. Anyone have experience with this?
 
What if you try moving the lower mounts to the other set of holes on your rear axle link mounts?

Not sure what it will do to the geometry - it's strange but the aluminum section of the sway bar seems too short compared to the Axial kit version on mine...

The lower mounts worsen the "dog leg" issue. I think if the bar itself was shorter, I might be able to get it to work.

It can't be ineffective, it's on the chassis & linked to the axle, it has to stop chassis roll.


See your top pic with the suspension fully compressed, with it like that I'd measure from the sway arm eye to the second eye on the link mount on the axle.
Then make up 2 links that length.
Sway arm still won't hit cage, but longer link won't go over centre when suspension at full travel

What I mean is that with the bar mounted at the rear of the cage, after less than 1/2 the suspension travel the links scissor toward the anti-roll bar arms without adding any more force to resist rolling.

The suspension isn't fully compressed in that picture. The anti-roll bar arms contact the cage and eliminates about 12mm of travel.

I think what I'll try after work this evening is to slide the bar through the eyelets under the rear of the chassis and try (RPM) jato ends to get the links long enough to get to the lower mounts.

Update! I went ahead and made a couple links with jato ends and things look okay. I'll give it a shakedown after work and report back.

*EDIT* Success! The jato ends gave the links enough length to make it work. Torque twist is essentially gone and rollovers at speed are significantly reduced. I'm glad I finally got around to figuring this out.
