Hey guys I was at a wholesale store today and ran across a pallet of these:

I thought I hit the Jackpot, because I remember the demand for New Bright JK bodies, so I picked up five of them hoping to turn them over to guys who were looking for the bodies. They're nearly Identical to the New bright bodies, but are just a bit thinner plastic, and apparently are also a bit smaller in dimensions as well.... it also has clear windows and no hard top...

Overall its 15"X 6" not including the bumpers or flares, ideal wheelbase is 10.5" (11" at most for scale looks)
They market it as 1/8 scale, but my measurements are 1:12 scale -- 1 inch = 1 foot on full scale comparing to my real JK.

The grille, also is solid with 3D slots but not cut outs like the newbright, and is also separate from the main body, as is the interior.
Overall it has decent detail, like windshield bumpers on the hood, hinges, and door handles and a lisence plate frame, colored tail lights and nice headlight cans... and a better interior than the newbright (IMO)

Sooooo... Long story short, before I return them to the store, I thought I would ask if there is any need in the scale crawlersphere for a 4 door JK body of this size?

The guys running Tamiya CC-01's or the STRC short wheelbase chassis may want these.

Those were around years ago, most people refer them as the Fastlane RC JK body as that was the original brand on them.

They are pretty nice but never brought as much as the bigger New Brights. I have one still sitting at home never used.

I can measure it tonight but it's actually a little shorter than the "shortest setting" on the Vaterra Ascender... I believe I can get it a wee bit shorter too.
